We are in Peru!
We finally made it. We arrived in Peru at midnight Sunday morning. We had a great flight and travel was fine and we had a great night of sleep. We attended a spanish worship service this morning and were so blessed. We had lunch on a patio over the beach and it was oh so relaxing. We are just resting this afternoon and will head to Cusco in the morning.

Well, the day is finally here. Ryan and I will meet his parents tomorrow and then head to the airport in the wee hours of Saturday morning. I am very excited, finally got all packed, I hope! We have a very busy schedule ahead of us, but could not be more blessed. We will be in Cusco for several days, the group our church is adopting is about 30 miles from there. We are also traveling to Ayacucho to meet up with some people who plan on moving there in the near future. As soon as we can I will get some photos from the trip on here and perhaps I can update while we are there.

Passports Have Arrived!!!!!!
Our passports arrived this week! We can now legally leave the country. Preparations are going well for first trip in October. We will spend the first three days in Lima with Kathy Weaver learning IMB operations and meeting personnel and then travel to Cusco with Mike to work with the missionaries currently in the city. The last several days of the trip we will travel to Ayacucho to meet with another couple from the states preparing to move to that city. Then on to Lima for the return flight home. We are very excited and thank everyone for the support and prayers thus far. The journey will be long and we will need continued prayer support, but the destination will be magnificent---seeing indigenous Peruvians coming to know the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ whom we all love.
In Christ,
Ryan
