God's Clock

Time seems to be moving so quickly these days. It seems as if God has sped up our clock. This is very exciting, but at the same time can be stressful if we allow it. I find myself pulling closer to God during these moments. I know He has a plan and if we listen to Him and obey Him it will work out for His glory.

We are almost through packing. All of our things we are taking will need to be in Mississippi before January 17th. They will then make their way in a large shipping container to our new home in Honduras. To me this kinda says, okay, this is permanent, we are moving! Exciting and frightening all at the same time.

We need prayers for the rest of the things we must finish here in the States. We are having to get a lot of documents "authenticated" for the Honduran government. This is a time consuming and confusing process. We also are working with the Honduras Consulate in Chicago to obtain our residency papers. Please pray that all of this will be taken care of in a very timely manner and that there will be few obstacles in the way.

Thank you for your prayers and partnership in our journey.

Merry Christmas to All

Well, time for a little updating. We were out of town last week spending an early Christmas with family. Amazing times were had and God was at the center of it all. We had several chances to share our love of God and our call to the mission field. We are all rejuvenated and ready to enjoy the CHRISTmas season. We were blessed to see our children’s ministry tell the Christmas story, brought tears to my eyes!

We have been collecting many items we will need for the move. Some were gifts to us and some we have had to bargain hunt for. God is so good at meeting all of our needs. We went looking for several items and were able to find many of them on clearance! What a joy to be saving money on basic items. We have a few items still on a watch list; I am convinced I can always find them cheaper.

Thank you to all of our partners. The blessings continue to humble me and amaze me. We are now at 25% of our goal! Praise God. 25% is such a huge number to me, but God knows no limits. Thank you for being a part of God’s plan and joining us on this journey. Thank you to our prayer partners, we could not be doing this without your continued prayers.

Philippians 4: 4-7 (The Message) Celebrate God all day, every day. I mean, revel in him! Make it as clear as you can to all you meet that you're on their side, working with them and not against them. Help them see that the Master is about to arrive. He could show up any minute!
Don't fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God's wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It's wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life

13%

We are so amazed! God is so awesome! Words can not describe how amazing it is to see God work when you are obedient. Our Sunday school teacher ask us each week where we have seen God working. I have seen Him like never before. We have put all our faith in God and God alone. We have about 12 weeks before our moving date and need to be fully funded an amount of $1,435 a month. We know that by praying and listening to God this can be done! So, far he is blessing us beyond belief.

13% may not seem like alot to some, but for us that is the moon. God knew our fears, we were honest with Him about it. He knew we needed help and He graciously sent us our first "partner" in missions without us doing a thing other than sharing our hearts desire and God's will for our lives. That was such an amazing blessing and conformation of what we are doing.

Our prayer is that we continue to glorify God and spread His word. It is so amazing to see the Holy Spirit moving in ways we could never imagine.

Please continue to pray with us. Yes, we need financial support, but prayer support is of the upmost importance to us. If you have a prayer request please feel free to share it with us! We want to hear from you also!
